Hindrances to Worshipping Freely
Feelings of guilt and unworthiness will hinder freedom in
worship. Our confidence to enter the Most Holy Place with
boldness is based solely on what Jesus has accomplished by
the shedding of His blood, (Heb. 10:19-21). Let the Word of
God be the final authority in this matter and not your feelings.
Think of how Jesus willingly suffered and died for us. How can
we doubt God’s love for us or doubt His desire to fellowship
with us. It was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us;
the Righteous for the unrighteous, (Romans 5:8, 1 Peter 3:18).
